For drilling of all types of ceramic tiles, especially porcelain tiles, and other wall materials such as marble and granite, RUBI has the EASYGRES diamond drill bit range.

The EASYGRES range are electroplated diamond drill bits for wet cutting, suitable for use with a non-percussive power drill.


The quality of the diamond used in the design and manufacture of EASYGRES drill bits allows drilling of stoneware, porcelain tiles, granite, marble and glass.

EASYGRES drill bits, diameters of 6-12 mm, are perfect for installing bathroom accessories or any type of extra decoration on ceramic surfaces and must always be used water-cooled and with the EASYGRES guide, which allows centring and proper cooling, ensuring a high accuracy and the best finishes.

Other diameters in the EASYGRES diamond bit range from 20-120 mm, they are mainly designed for the ceramic tile fixer to get the best results when performing the necessary drilling for water tapping points, sewers, electrical connections, etc.

The average life of the EASYGRES drill bits varies according to the diameter in 6-12 mm EASYGRES the average life is 10 holes and in 20-120 mm EASYGRES the average life is 25 holes. The average life of the drill bits ALWAYS depends on the type of material, its thickness and proper cooling and use.

The drilling depth of EASYGRES drill bits is 25 mm.

The EASYGRES drill bits have a lateral opening which improves the cooling of the drill bit and facilitates the removal of solid residues after each drilling. Before further drilling we must ensure that the drill bit is clean and free of any obstruction.

The recommended speed for use of EASYGRES drill bits is between 400 and 1000 rpm depending on the material being drilled.

For a better finish and longer drill bit life, it is important to respect the proper rotation speed and exert moderate pressure during drilling.

Next Day Delivery: Next Working Day Delivery is now available on a large number of our products. The cut off for Next Working Day Delivery is 12pm Monday - Thursday. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered on the subsequent working day.

For example, an order placed at 11am on Monday will be delivered on Tuesday. An order placed at 12:30pm on Monday will be delivered on Wednesday. Orders placed after 12pm on a Thursday will be delivered on the following Monday. Orders placed between 12pm Friday and 12pm Monday will be delivered on Tuesday.


Parcel Deliveries: Small items such as mosaics or bottles of sealer under 20kg will be sent via our parcel carrier UKMail where possible.  Delivery updates will be provided via email and text once the goods have been despatched. 


Pallet Deliveries: Large orders over approx 20kg will be delivered on a large vehicle with a tail-lift. The delivery will be a non-contact kerbside delivery. Please notify us at the time of order if we may have trouble delivering your order to the kerbside of your property in a large vehicle.  Either via putting a note on your order at the time of ordering or contacting customer service on: 0345 307 5000 or via our Live chat.  You will receive an email notification once your order has been despatched. 

Once the order is despatched from our warehouse and with our delivery partner, our delivery partner will call you within 48 hrs to arrange a suitable day for delivery.

Returns: If you wish to return any goods we will provide you with a full refund. Simply return the items within 30 days of delivery or collections to either your local store, Click here to find your local store or the Tile Giant warehouse (Tile Giant, Unit B Nimbus Park, Mount Pleasant Road, Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN8 4HT) in their original condition together with a receipt as proof of purchase. 


Alternatively, if you are unable to return the goods to one of our stores or Warehouse, our Customer Service team can arrange the collection for you on a day that is convenient. Simply call our team on 0345 307 5000 or email customerservice@tilegiant.co.uk with your order number and we will arrange the rest. You must notify us within 30 days of delivery or collection. There is a charge of £35 for this service which can be deducted from your refund amount.


Refunds are only offered on unopened full boxes of tiles and flooring. Special order items are excluded from this and will be identified on your receipt. Your statutory rights are not affected. 



Delivery FAQs


How long does delivery take and how do I know when my order will arrive?

Delivery takes 5-7 working days from order receipt. Once your order is received by our courier, they will contact you by phone to arrange a day for delivery. All orders are delivered between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday.


Can my order be delivered at a specific time?

We are unable to offer specific time slots for delivery at present due to high demand, we are working with our delivery partners to improve our delivery options.


What should I do when my order arrives?

When your order arrives please check that you have received everything expected and that nothing is damaged. You should also check that the batch information matches across all boxes of the same product.


Can I return my pallet with the driver?

We use a courier network to deliver all palletised deliveries. This enables us to keep our prices low and for large parts of the UK, delivery is free on orders over £250. Unfortuantely this means the driver is unable to take your pallet a way with him.


What do I do if some of my order arrives damaged?

Tiles are a fragile product during transit, from time to time tiles can get damaged during the delivery process. If your order is damaged please take clear photos of the damage and the batch information and email them to customerservice@tilegiant.co.uk. They will arrange for replacements or a refund where necessary. We aim to get replacement product to you within 48 hrs.


I need tiles of a specific batch, how do I arrange this?

If you are ordering extra tiles to complete a project, you will need to provide the batch information to ensure the tiles match. If you have ordered for home delivery please contact customer service on 0345 307 5000 once you have placed your order.


I need to amend my order, can I do this?

Unfortunately, we are unable to change products or quantities on orders once they have been placed. If you need to change your order you will need to request a cancellation of the original order and place a new order.

Free Click & Collect: You can choose to Click & Collect your order for free from all of our 80+ Tile Giant stores. 

To Click & Collect your order simply choose the store closest to your location from the list in our checkout.  Once your order is placed your chosen store will aim to call you within 2 hours to confirm your order and the expected arrival date in store. This is generally 4-7 days from the day of order.  When your order arrives instore, our team will check and give you a call to inform you. Then simply collect your order, check it and arrange your fitter.

I’ve just placed my order, when can I collect it?

Due to the nature of the products which we sell, it is not possible to hold stock of everything in every store. For this reason, once your order has been received by your chosen store, the store will aim to contact you in 2 hours to confirm your order and when it will be ready for collection. Click & Collect orders are normally available for collection 4-7 days after the day of order.


I haven’t heard from you regarding my order?

If you have not heard from your click and collect store within 24 hours or placing your order please contact your chosen store. Contact details can be found on our store locator


I need tiles of a specific batch, how do I arrange this?

If you are ordering extra tiles to complete a project, you will need to provide the batch information for your existing tiles when the store contacts you. They will then check with our warehouse to see if the batch is available.
