RUBI CEV continuous rim diamond blades are the best choice for general cutting of ceramic tiles.

The combination between the diamond grain and the alloy that makes up the bond, makes CEV diamond blades by RUBI perfect for general cutting of ceramic tiles like glazed or porcelain tiles.


CEV diamond blades adapt better than any other blades to those situations where the professional ceramic tile fixer needs to work with ceramic tiles of various types.

Using a general cutting diamond blade, such as the CEV, reduces downtime caused by the need to change blades every time we change material. In the same way, we get cutting quality and optimum performance in the whole range of materials we might come to cut.

The CEV diamond blade by RUBI is a continuous rim blade. This type of diamond blade gives the professional ceramic tile fixer the possibility of obtaining high quality finishes.

The design of the CEV diamond blades by RUBI makes them ideal for cutting all types of ceramic tile and other stone materials for walls with a thicknesses of less than 25 mm.

By means of laser welding, we have made the joint between the diamond rim and the steel core of the RUBI CONTINUOUS - CEV blade a guarantee of quality and safety for the user.

Next Day Delivery: Next Working Day Delivery is now available on a large number of our products. The cut off for Next Working Day Delivery is 12pm Monday - Thursday. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered on the subsequent working day.

For example, an order placed at 11am on Monday will be delivered on Tuesday. An order placed at 12:30pm on Monday will be delivered on Wednesday. Orders placed after 12pm on a Thursday will be delivered on the following Monday. Orders placed between 12pm Friday and 12pm Monday will be delivered on Tuesday.


Parcel Deliveries: Small items such as mosaics or bottles of sealer under 20kg will be sent via our parcel carrier UKMail where possible.  Delivery updates will be provided via email and text once the goods have been despatched. 


Pallet Deliveries: Large orders over approx 20kg will be delivered on a large vehicle with a tail-lift. The delivery will be a non-contact kerbside delivery. Please notify us at the time of order if we may have trouble delivering your order to the kerbside of your property in a large vehicle.  Either via putting a note on your order at the time of ordering or contacting customer service on: 0330 053 3362 or via our Live chat.  You will receive an email notification once your order has been despatched. 

Once the order is despatched from our warehouse and with our delivery partner, our delivery partner will call you within 48 hrs to arrange a suitable day for delivery.


Bank Holidays:  Please be aware that our warehouse and delivery partners do not operate Bank Holidays or Weekends.

Returns: If you wish to return any goods we will provide you with a full refund. Simply return the items within 28 days of delivery or collections to either your local store, Click here to find your local store or the Tile Giant warehouse (Tile Giant, Unit B Nimbus Park, Mount Pleasant Road, Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN8 4HT) in their original condition together with a receipt as proof of purchase. 


Alternatively, if you are unable to return the goods to one of our stores or Warehouse, our Customer Service team can arrange the collection for you on a day that is convenient. Simply call our team on 0332 053 3362 or email [email protected] with your order number and we will arrange the rest. You must notify us within 28 days of delivery or collection. There is a charge of £48 for this service which can be deducted from your refund amount.


Refunds are only offered on unopened full boxes of tiles and flooring. Special order items are excluded from this and will be identified on your receipt. Your statutory rights are not affected. 



Delivery FAQs


How long does delivery take and how do I know when my order will arrive?

Delivery takes 5-7 working days from order receipt. Once your order is received by our courier, they will contact you by phone to arrange a day for delivery. All orders are delivered between 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday.


Can my order be delivered at a specific time?

We are unable to offer specific time slots for delivery at present due to high demand, we are working with our delivery partners to improve our delivery options.


What should I do when my order arrives?

When your order arrives please check that you have received everything expected and that nothing is damaged. You should also check that the batch information matches across all boxes of the same product.


Can I return my pallet with the driver?

We use a courier network to deliver all palletised deliveries. This enables us to keep our prices low and for large parts of the UK, delivery is free on orders over £250. Unfortuantely this means the driver is unable to take your pallet a way with him.


What do I do if some of my order arrives damaged?

Tiles are a fragile product during transit, from time to time tiles can get damaged during the delivery process. If your order is damaged please take clear photos of the damage and the batch information and email them to [email protected]. They will arrange for replacements or a refund where necessary. We aim to get replacement product to you within 48 hrs.


I need tiles of a specific batch, how do I arrange this?

If you are ordering extra tiles to complete a project, you will need to provide the batch information to ensure the tiles match. If you have ordered for home delivery please contact customer service on 0330 053 3362 once you have placed your order.


I need to amend my order, can I do this?

Unfortunately, we are unable to change products or quantities on orders once they have been placed. If you need to change your order you will need to request a cancellation of the original order and place a new order.

Free Click & Collect: You can choose to Click & Collect your order for free from all of our 56 Tile Giant stores. 

To Click & Collect your order simply choose the store closest to your location from the list in our checkout.  Once your order is placed your chosen store will aim to call you within 3 hours to confirm your order and the expected arrival date in store. This is generally 4-7 days from the day of order.  When your order arrives instore, our team will check and give you a call to inform you. Then simply collect your order, check it and arrange your fitter.

I’ve just placed my order, when can I collect it?

Due to the nature of the products which we sell, it is not possible to hold stock of everything in every store. For this reason, once your order has been received by your chosen store, the store will aim to contact you in 3 hours to confirm your order and when it will be ready for collection. Click & Collect orders are normally available for collection 4-7 days after the day of order.


I haven’t heard from you regarding my order?

If you have not heard from your click and collect store within 24 hours or placing your order please contact your chosen store. Contact details can be found on our store locator


I need tiles of a specific batch, how do I arrange this?

If you are ordering extra tiles to complete a project, you will need to provide the batch information for your existing tiles when the store contacts you. They will then check with our warehouse to see if the batch is available.
