Hi, I am considering this for a splashback to a gas hob. I am concerned the tiles will mark from grease/food splashes and not be wipeable - should I consider an alternative, or will thus tile be suitable for this location?

The Chicago tiles will be wipeable behind a hob, they do have an authetic brick effect which means the surfaces are not flat; however, the tiles have are porcelain and therfore not porous.
