Fall head over heels with our flooring range! The way you lay your floor says a lot about your style and individuality and creates a statement focal point in your home. With so many laying options to choose from, it can often be daunting to know where to begin.
Our new flooring range opens a wealth of opportunities to get creative with your floor and it’s easy to create and style the looks yourself.
Sublime & Simple Straight Lines
If you’re looking for an elegant and classic look, the standard linear straight-line layouts are a great option.
Typically laid in the direction of the room’s light source to help create the illusion of space, this traditional styling option is quick and easy to lay elongating your space.
Make your floor the focus of your room by choosing simple furniture and decor pieces to accentuate the beauty and simplicity of it.
Top tip! Do not overcrowd your floors. If you need extra storage, opt for wall hung units and shelves or free-standing units with gaps between the floor and the furniture, exposing more of the floor and giving you the added illusion of space.
Open Up Your Space With Offset Brick Bond
For a more contemporary feel, opt for a staggered brick bond laying pattern. Simple to create but visually stunning, this look is created by using a varied offset i.e., 40/60, 30/70 etc. to create a softer, more natural look.
This works perfectly with our tile effect flooring.
Top tip! Use your cut pieces and scraps from each row of flooring for minimal waste!
All Hail Herringbone
Turn your floors into a work of art with Herringbone, one of the must have flooring patterns that never goes out of style.
The zigzag pattern that a herringbone layout creates is incredibly eye-catching, adds depth and interest to your home and with our varied choice of laminate herringbone flooring options, is the ideal option for a fantastic feature floor that is easier and less expensive to install than real wood.
Top tip!: For a cohesive look, allow patterned floors to extend from one room to the next, creating a seamless space that is an interior trend for 2022. We suggest keeping this trend to a minimum of two rooms to not overuse this style.
Complete The Look With Chevron
The signature ‘V’ shape of Chevron flooring makes it one of the most iconic and functional flooring types around. The versatile design can be used in equal measures in small and even larger spaces creating a dramatic look.
In small spaces, a feeling of spaciousness can be created and in large spaces, chevron can bring a room together.
Chevron flooring blocks appear wider and longer than Herringbone giving them the advantage over other formats to make a space look significantly larger.
Top tip!: Don’t just confine Chevron to your floor, why not be bold and add a chevron print wallpaper to walls. Otherwise keep it subtle with soft furnishings with a nod to chevron.
